[Event] 2026 California Creates Manufacturing Forum
On October 13, manufacturers, industry representatives, financing experts, and state and local leaders will gather at Aggie Square in Sacramento for the 2nd Annual California Creates: Golden State Manufacturing Forum.
Presented by the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA), with support from the Capital Programs and Climate Financing Authority (CPCFA), the forum is designed to connect California manufacturers with practical information and resources that can support growth and competitiveness.
Sessions will cover public and private financing, permitting and technical assistance, manufacturing success stories, local opportunities, and emerging industries and technologies.
Manufacturing remains an important part of California’s economy. According to the California State Treasurer’s Office, more than 45,000 manufacturing businesses operate throughout the state, employing approximately 1.24 million people and generating $382 billion in annual economic output.
CASS is excited to see the California Metals Coalition (CMC) represented at the forum. CMC Executive Director James Simonelli will participate alongside CMC members Kubi Karul of SA Recycling and Mark Olson of Pacific Steel Group, bringing perspectives from California’s metals industry into the broader manufacturing conversation.
As a California manufacturer and longtime CMC member, CASS values opportunities that bring industry together to share information, better understand available resources, and discuss the challenges and opportunities affecting manufacturers throughout the state.
