Support the Community Repower Movement’s Turkey Box Drive This Thanksgiving

As the metals industry prepares for the holiday season, many of us are also taking time to give back.

The California Metals Coalition is proud to partner with Community Repower Movement (CRM), an organization founded in Watts by Macnelson Shorty, who grew up amid the challenges of systemic oppression, drug crises, and gun violence in 1980s Los Angeles. Instead of becoming another statistic, Macnelson chose a different path: becoming part of the solution. CRM carries forward that commitment by supporting families and strengthening neighborhoods across Southern California.

CRM is hosting its annual Turkey Box Drive to provide Thanksgiving meals to local families in need.

Please take a moment to download and read the flyer to learn how you can participate or help spread the word.

At CMC, we are committed to supporting the communities that power the metals sector in California. This Thanksgiving, we invite you to join us in uplifting families and helping ensure that every household can celebrate with dignity and warmth.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference. 🧡🦃
