Standing Strong for Breast Cancer Awareness

Every October, pink ribbons remind us of the courage, resilience, and love that surround the fight against breast cancer. But beyond the color and the symbol are real people whose lives have been forever changed.

At CASS, we believe awareness is more than acknowledgment. It’s a commitment to learn, to support, to speak up, and to take action. Early detection saves lives. Conversations save lives. Compassion saves lives. That’s what this month is about: making sure no one faces breast cancer alone.

We wear pink this month to honor those who have fought, to uplift those still fighting, and to remember those we’ve lost too soon. And because action matters, we’ve created a small gesture of support — a limited-edition CASS Breast Cancer Awareness shirt. All proceeds will be donated to the UCSF Breast Cancer Center, helping fund care, research, and resources for patients and families in need.

It’s not about the shirt itself, it’s about what it represents. It’s a reminder that together, even small acts of kindness can create something powerful.
