What We Do
CASS manufactures aluminum alloys made with 100% recycled aluminum in the United States through a vertically integrated process designed to support long-term supply reliability, quality consistency, and scalable manufacturing performance.
100% Recycled: We transform recycled metals and post-consumer materials into high-quality aluminum ingots.
Custom Alloys: We tailor our aluminum alloys to meet your exact specifications, ensuring they perform in even the most demanding applications.
Industry-Leading Quality: Advanced lab technologies allow us to control elemental ranges, guaranteeing precision and consistency in every ingot.
Global Standards: As an LME-registered brand, we deliver products that exceed market requirements.
Clean & Safe Manufacturing
At CASS, we take a cleaner approach to aluminum. We avoid chlorine-based fluxes, using argon for non-toxic degassing and high-purity materials to remove magnesium—no harmful chemicals, just a safer, more sustainable process. The result: a better product, made responsibly.
Why CASS Stands Out
-

CHLORINE-FREE Manufacturing in the USA
Many aluminum producers use harmful chemicals like chlorine gas or fluxes, which can harm the environment and compromise product quality. At CASS, we’ve eliminated these practices, choosing safety and sustainability without sacrificing performance.
-

Advanced Automation & Technology
We are the only secondary aluminum manufacturer utilizing AI-driven molten metal management, which enhances safety, reduces risks, and ensures a superior product.
-

Reliable Domestic Manufacturing
With operations across California, Nevada, and Texas, CASS provides dependable U.S.-based aluminum manufacturing backed by vertically integrated recycling operations, helping customers reduce exposure to freight disruption, geopolitical uncertainty, and volatile global supply conditions.
Quality & Efficiency in Aluminum Manufacturing
At CASS, we utilize advanced metal analysis technology to ensure the highest precision in our recycling and aluminum manufacturing processes. This state-of-the-art equipment allows us to meet customer specifications with exact elemental analysis, ensuring the production of chlorine-free, chemical-free alloys with exceptional accuracy. The technology provides fast, reliable results, enabling us to efficiently control the quality of both incoming materials and finished products. With reduced maintenance costs, minimal downtime, and increased reliability, we consistently deliver high-quality, environmentally responsible aluminum while optimizing our processes for maximum efficiency.
Why Manufacturers Are Choosing Low-Carbon Aluminum
CASS is redefining aluminum manufacturing with Low-Carbon Aluminum, designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining quality. *Combined emissions intensity is a production-weighted average across all operating facilities, calculated using location-based Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions divided by total aluminum production. Figures are based on 2024 calculations (2025 pending). Actual emissions intensity may vary by site due to differences in scale and operating conditions.
Atomic Number 13
ALUMINUM, the element in which sustainability meets strength, symbolized by its atomic number 13. With an atomic weight of approximately 26.98 atomic mass units, this metal is known for its lightweight properties, having a low density of about 2.70 g/cm³. It has a melting point of around 660.32°C and a much higher boiling point of 2519°C. At room temperature, aluminum exists in a solid phase. It is an exceptional conductor of electricity—surpassed only by copper—and is similarly efficient in conducting heat, which makes it ideal for use in radiators and air conditioners. Notably resistant to corrosion, aluminum forms a protective oxide coating when exposed to air. This metal is both ductile, allowing it to be drawn into wire or extruded into shapes, and malleable, enabling it to be hammered or rolled into thin sheets. These properties make aluminum a versatile material in various industrial applications.
Benefits of Aluminum
-
Aluminum, like other metals, has atoms bonded together in a crystal structure, making it easy to melt and reform without losing its essential properties. This allows aluminum to be recycled indefinitely with no theoretical limit.
-
Manufacturing products from recycled aluminum saves up to 95 % of the energy needed to manufacture them from virgin materials.
-
Aluminum is a unique element of American manufacturing, supporting many segments of the U.S. economy.
Aluminum is designated as a critical mineral and has been recognized by the Departments of Commerce and Defense as “vital” to national security.
